Slowgram is a quiet place to share with the people you actually know. These Terms explain the agreement between you and Slowgram when you use the app — including our zero-tolerance standards that keep the community safe.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and The Slowgram LLC ("Slowgram," "we," "us") governing your use of the Slowgram iOS application and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Slowgram. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current. Notify us promptly at hello@theslowgram.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Slowgram lets you share photos, comments, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Slowgram a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit your User Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you and the friends you share with. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except where limited retention is required for legal compliance or safety review.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you own it or have the rights necessary to share it, and that it does not violate anyone else's rights or these Terms.
Slowgram has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content or behavior that violates these standards will be removed, and users who violate them may be suspended or permanently removed from the Service without notice.

We review all reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. Content that violates these Terms will be removed, and the responsible user may be suspended or permanently ejected from the Service. You can also report objectionable content or abusive behavior to us directly at hello@theslowgram.com.
Certain features of Slowgram may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase, and your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or by Apple's refund policies.
You agree not to: access the Service by automated means (scraping, bots); attempt to circumvent security, moderation, or access controls; reverse engineer the app; interfere with the Service's operation; collect other users' information without their consent; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
The Service — including the app, design, branding, and all content other than User Content — is owned by The Slowgram LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Slowgram name, logo, or branding.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms — including our zero-tolerance standards in Section 5 — or where necessary to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 9, 11, 12, and 13) will survive.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content will be preserved without loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slowgram will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slowgram's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or fifty U.S. dollars (US$50).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
